Director. Known as the King of Pilots. Films include The Salzburg Connection, Le Mans, Along Came a Spider, Death Ray 2000, Emergency Room, Heaven with a Gun, Strange Homecoming, The Phynx, The Quest, Voyage of the Yes, Restraining Order, and What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice? TV movies include The Stranger, Ordeal, Savages, Sky Heist, The Last Survivors, The Quest, Terror Out Of The Sky, and Samurai. Directed hundreds of episodes on series including Man From Atlantis, Automan, Miami Vice, The Wild Wild West, Bonanza, Mission: Impossible, McMillan and Wife, Police Story, The Rat Patrol, Mannix, In the Heat of the Night, and Walker, Texas Ranger, Breakaway, and The Outer Limits. He was the creator of the short-lived American science fiction television series Man from Atlantis. Won two Emmys and awarded the Directors Guild Award.
