Mrs. Arlene Marie Wells Parrish Roach, 84, of 14725 Franklin Turnpike, Dry Fork, VA went to be with her Lord at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Howard Stern Wells and the late Lottie Boaze Wells.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Roach.

She was a member of Swansonville United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Dan River, Inc. She graduated from Whitmell Farm Life School.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Parrish Simpson of Burlington, NC, her sons, Barry Parrish of Danville and John Parrish and Wesley Parrish, both of Chatham, her brother, Randolph Wells of Danville, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, one step-great-grandson, and one step-great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Thomas Allen Parrish, III and Mark Parrish, seven sisters, five brothers and a grandson, Matthew Parrish.

A graveside service was held at Highland Burial Park in Danville with Reverend Mike Hearp and Reverend Daryl Joyce officiating.

Norris Funeral Services and Crematory, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA served the family.
