Edith L. Adcox age 90 of Harriman passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 at her residence. She was the oldest living member of Childs Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Tinie Moore; her husband, Vinet Adcox; her son, Tommy Adcox; her granddaughter, Tiffany Koontz; her great grandson, Shaun Settles; and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors are daughter, Judy Bryant and husband, Wayne of Kingston, son, Kenny Adcox and wife, Beverly of Kingston,
7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in the Chapel of Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman with the Reverend Tommy Hensley officiating. Graveside service and interment in Willard Park Cemetery 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Kyker Funeral Home.
