Lester Benjamin Hyatt died February 15, 2012 at Freedom Village in Holland, MI.

Lester was a veteran of the United States Navy and belonged to VFW Post #1855. He owned and operated Hyatt Heating in Dowagiac along with his brother Donald Hyatt.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mabel, his sister Shirley Pond, and his brother Richard Hyatt.

He is survived by his sister LaVerne Ruff of Holland, his brother Donald Hyatt of Batesville, AR, and several nieces and nephews.

His family will gather with friend on Monday from 11a.m. until 12 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel in Dowagiac. Funeral services will be Monday at 12 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel led by Pastor Jeffrey Weber. He will be laid to rest in Mission Hills Cemetery, Niles with military honors.
