Musician. He was a talented brass guitar player, who was highly regarded in the Nashville Country music scene. He backed greats like Steve Wariner, Vern Gosdin, Lorrie Morgan and the Oak Ridge Boys, both in concert and on recordings. In the 1970s he was a member of Gram Parson's Fallen Angels, which released the album "Gram Parsons & The Fallen Angels Live 1973." He played on the influential "live" recording that featured Emmylou Harris. After graduating from high school in 1966, he graduated from Indiana University with a degree in music. He was 6'4" tall. He was married, but divorced and had a daughter and two sons. He died of liver cancer in Nashville at the age of 55.
