ABRAHAM GANTT
LIBERTY - Abraham Lincoln Gantt, 69, of 525 S. Fayetteville St. died Thursday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Aibilene Church of Christ near Statesville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Alexander County, he was a retired employee of Gregson Manufacturing Co., a member of Siler City Church of Christ, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Martha Patsy Johnson Gantt; sons, James Henry Gantt of Wallace, Gerald Lynn Gantt of Kernersville, Timothy Lincoln Gantt of the home; sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Harmon of Statesville, Mrs. Nellie Washick of Kattawa, Ky.; brother, Joe Gantt of Statesville; six grandchildren.
The family will be at Loflin Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.
