Funeral services for Charles A. Winger, aged 80, of 1020 Adams street, who died Wednesday at 12:20 p.m. at his home, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Howard L. Reynolds funeral home, 900 Adams street. Rev. W.A. Thornton, pastor of Epworth Methodist church, will be in charge. Interment will be in Oak Park cemetery.
Mr. Winger was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Jane Lewis Winger, in 1926. A son of Joseph and Mary Winger, he was born in Oil City, Pa., on November 8, 1862.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Flora Newton of this city, with whom he made his home, Mrs. Jennie Hogue of Youngstown; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Jaggers of R.D., New Castle, Mrs Cora Rodgers of R.D., New Castle, Mrs. Anna Winger of Taft, Calif., and one brother, Louis Winger of Mercer County.
Friends are being received at the funeral home this afternoon and this evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock.
