Stanley B. Baugher, 73, Lineboro RD 2, died at 3 a.m. today at the University of Maryland Hospital. He was the husband of E. Isabel Powell Baugher.

Born in Manheim Township, he was a son of the late Aaron S. and Lydia M. Buser Baugher. He graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1936 and did postgraduate work at the Pennsylvania State University. He had been a school teacher for 41 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Black Rock Church of the Brethren, serving as Sunday School superintendent and teacher. He had been serving as chairman of the church board for a second term. He was a member of the York County Historical Society and the Genealogical Society of the church.

Surviving, in addition to his widow, are five sisters: Mrs. Minnie Endinger, Barley Nursing Home East, York; Mrs. Mary Ault, 360 S. Royal St., York; Mrs. Bernard (Ella) King, 3118 Skylight Drive, East York; Anna Bortner, Lineboro, Md.: Mrs. Noah (Lovie) Runkle, Hanover RD 1; and one brother, Raymond R. Baugher, Huntingdon RD 4.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 am. at the Black Rock Church of the Brethren, with Pastor L. Gene Bucher and Assistant Pastor Henry E. Miller officiating. Friends may call at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
