Christina R. (Schilling) Record, 93, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012, surrounded by her family and will be deeply missed.
She was a graduate of Memorial High School in 1937 and was employed at St. Mary's Medical Center as linen room supervisor. Christina was a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Record, in 1962; sons, Michael, Thomas and Anthony Record; daughter, Ann Record; and grandson, Michael Evans.
Christina is survived by her daughters, Martha Esparza and husband, Tom, Mary Evans and husband, George; sons, Sam Record and wife, Donna, all of Evansville and Steve Record, of Ariz.; brother, Martin Schilling, of Evansville; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; brother, Martin Schilling; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue from noon until 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and continue with a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1760 Lodge Ave., Evansville, IN 47714, with Fr. Henry Kuykendall officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
