Mathilda "Tillie" Umbdenstock, 94, of Route 2, Hampshire, died Thursday in Sycamore Hospital.

Born in Burlington, Feb. 7, 1885, she was the daughter of Ignatius and Helen Seyller Vogel, and had lived in the Burlington and Hampshire area all her life.

She married Frank Umbdenstock on Oct. 8, 1912.

She was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Hampshire, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

Surviving are a daughter, with whom she lived, Mrs. Carl (Helen) Dumoulin of Hampshire, and two grandsons.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1972; a son, Francis, in 1925; and five brothers.

Visitation will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today in the Fredrick Funeral Home, Hampshire, where rosary will be said at 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Rev. William Claussen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
