Marie Jermanovich Gabor, of Midland, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009, following an extended illness. Born November 20, 1923, in Midland, PA, Marie is the daughter of the late Mihajlo and Marija Yaich Jermanovich. Marie was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland, where she taught Sunday School for 13 years. She formerly served as President Treasurer of the Mother's Club, member of the Church Youth Board; Treasurer of both the Church and the American Yugoslav Club, and Secretary of the Circle of Serbian Sisters. For many years, she was in charge of the church Sisters and the club bingo. Marie is survived by two daughters, Kathleen M. (Milton) Morozowich of Dover, DE and Andrea L. Gabor of Beaver, PA; five grandchildren and their spouses, Andrea (Beau) Zebley, Deanna (Joseph) Cuccinello, Jennifer (Robert) Howard, Marcie (Kenneth) Pusey, and Andrew J. (Jessica) Morozowich; seven great-grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, and Zoe Zebley; Hayden Cuccinello, Emma Howard, and Avarie and Delanie Pusey; two sisters, Sophia Orlovich and Ann Meriage; one brother, Dr. Miles Jermanovich; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend, Jody Hollencamp.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Gabor, in 1997, and a son, David Scott Gabor, in 1963.
