Evelyn Creel Parnell,84, wife of the late Dick Parnell, died Sunday in a Kingstree hospital after an illness.

Mrs. Parnell was born in Johnsonville a daughter of the late Jennings and Corine Bellflower Creel. She was a retired employee of Wellman Industries and a member of Westside Free Will Baptist Church

Mrs.Parnell was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Eaddy and Jeanette Mixon.
