Gail Rutland Crane, CTC DS, wife of Richard T. Crane passed away on August 1, 2007. Gail and Richard are long time residents of Sandy Springs. She was born February 24, 1937 in Dallas, Texas to a prominent Texas family. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Gail was a member of Dallas Country Club, The Club in Birmingham, AL, and a founding member of the Vinings Club. She was a popular Travel Agent and owned Roaming The Globe Travel in Laguna Hills, CA. Gail is survived by Richard, her sons, Tom and John, as well as grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Richard, III, Victoria, and Amanda. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
