Resident of Bay Point Alfred Burton, 66, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2006. He was a native of Concord, CA, and a lifelong resident of Bay Point. He graduated from Pacifica High School. For 32 years Alfred worked as a postal clerk for the Pittsburg Post Office; and retired in 1992. He enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer. Alfred was a sweet gentleman. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Alfred is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patsy C. Burton; daughter, Debra Burton; son, Alfred Burton; sister-in-law, Sharon Chavez; brother-in-law, Gary DeWitt; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Burton.
