Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Cathy Larrow his sister will officiate and burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg. Born September 8, 1944 in Trenton, Michigan he was the son of Frank and Catherine (LaFeve) Johnson. He was employed by Jefferson Schools for twenty-five years retiring in 2004. Surviving are his children Matthew Curtis Johnson of Monroe and Shirley Rose Johnson of Taylor; brother, Gary Thomas (Jane Marie) Johnson of Petersburg; sister, Cathy Ann (James C.) Larrow of Monroe, grandchildren Sonnsearray Johnson and Aubree Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Maria Johnson and brother, Lee Allen Johnson.
