She was born May 5, 1889, In the Town of Herman, daughter of William and Wilhelmina Stoeltlng Uphoff.
On May 24, 1911, she married Ernie Raeder in Waukegan. III. The couple lived and farmed In the Town of Greenbush for 30 years, then moved, to the Town of Rhine. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1961. Mr. Raeder died Oct. 13, 1965.
Mrs. Raeder lived for the past two years with her daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. and Mrs. Eldon Theel in the Town of Empire, Fond du Lac County. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth, the Plymouth Homemakers, and Senior Citizens.
She is survived by two sons, Clarence of Route 1, Waldo, and Henry of Plymouth; a daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Ruth) Theel of Town of Empire; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Richard Balken, pastor of Fond du Lac Gospel Tabernacle, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenbush Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. Sunday until the time of services on Monday. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Raeder's name for the Ladies Aid of Salem UCC in Plymouth
