No stone. There is no record of Solomon's burial in this cemetery, but his wife, Hannah's obituary states that she would be buried next to her husband in Greenwood cemetery. Also, the cemetery records show a "Joneta Zook" with the same birth and death dates as Solomon. It is believed that the record is actually for Solomon.

Solomon Zook was born in Henry County, Kentucky, the son of Peter and Margaret (Thorn) Zook. He married Hannah Harbourd (or Harbit) April 29, 1830. In 1872 they moved with seven of their children to Quenemo, Osage County, Kansas, where Solomon worked (according to the Kansas State Census for 1875) as mechanic or blacksmith. Only William stayed behind in Illinois.

Solomon and Hannah's children were: Margaret E. Rogers, Obannon K. Zook, Louisa Jane Zook, John W. Zook, Martha (died in infancy), Mary Ellen Wren, William H. Zook, Sarah E. Harris, and Martha Anne Davis.
