ROSEMARIE J. WEST
73, of Conneaut Lake, PA died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at the Meadville Medical Center. She was born in Pittsburgh, Nov. 24, 1930, the daughter of Christine Voytasek Sankovic of Zelienople and the late Joseph W. Sankovic. Rosemarie was a graduate of Shaler H.S., and Slippery Rock College in 1953. She was an elementary school teacher in the North Allegheny School District and a substitute teacher in Crawford County Area.
She was very active with Our Lady Queen of Americas Church; wife of John E. West of Conneaut Lake; mother of Valerie West and companion Deborah Detwiler of Robesonia, PA, and Leslie Conlin and husband R. Terry of Conneaut Lake; sister of Helen Warren and husband Robert, and Connie Sankovic, all of Wexford, Joseph R. Sankovic and wife Beverly of Kalispell, MT and Edward W. Sankovic and wife Marion of Zelienople; also two grandchildren: Meghan Conlin and R. Terry Conlin, Jr., of Conneaut Lake.
Visitations Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake. A Rosary Service will be Tuesday at 4 pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth St., Conneaut Lake, with Father Steve Anderson as celebrant. Burial in Our Lady Queen of Americas Cemetery.
