OSKALOOSA - Dana G. Wyatt, 34, Oskaloosa, passed away Tuesday, Feb 27, 2007, at the Mahaska Hospital in Oskaloosa.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 2, at 1 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dave Childers and the Rev. Ralph Sprunk officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Township Cemetery at Ewart, Visitation will begin at the funeral chapel on Thursday after 4 p.m., family will be present Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the Oskaloosa First Church of the Nazarene.
He was born March 24, 1972, at Oskaloosa, the son of Millard F. and Helen Gladwin Wyatt. He graduated from Des Moines North High School with the class of 1991. He worked in various places, including an RV dealership and fast food restaurants. He moved back to Oskaloosa in 1992, and worked at Pella Plastics for several years. He enjoyed reading, especially religious readings. He loved music and watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
His family includes two sisters: Valerie (and Michael) Grace, of Centerville, and Sharon Wyatt, of Oskaloosa; nieces and nephews: Austin and Shyla Van Steenwyk; Tifiani and Brandi Jo Crace, and Brittni Thomas; and a close friend: Melody Cooper, of Oskaloosa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents: Jim and Eleanor Fagan.
