Ralph received his education in Fresno Schools receiving his Associates Degree from Fresno City College.
Losing his sight when he was young, Ralph was a community educator helping people with various disabilities.
He was a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed serving as a Ministerial Servant in the Millbrook Congregation and recently in the University Congregation and was involved in the activities at the Valley Center for The Blind. Ralph was well liked at the DaVita Fresno Dialysis Center where he was a patient for the last several years.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Gregory "Greg" Uribes in 2010; by a brother, Mike Uribes; and by his nephew, Dillon Ward.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Uribes; his sisters, Cathy Proctor and her husband Dave, Patty Proctor and her husband Mike; and Carol Ward, all of Fresno; and by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Clovis Memorial Building 800 4th Street in Clovis at 2:00 p.m.
Private interment will be at Clovis Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society or to The Valley Center for the Blind.
