Buxton
James Gregory Buxton, 54, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Feb.15, 2012, at North Baldwin Infirmary. He was a self employed scale technician.
He is survived by one son, Andrew Blake (Jessica Tew) Buxton of Bay Minette; one daughter, Brooke Mallory Buxton of Calvert; his mother, Ernestine Buxton of Bay Minette; one sister, Tami (Tim) Rigby of Bay Minette; and two grandchildren, Lana Marie Buxton and Blaine Gregory Buxton.
He was preceded in death by his father, James "Jimmy" Buxton.
The funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Broughton, Loren Powell, Mark Daniel, T.J. Hepstall, Bubba Rider and Dolan Powell.
