NORTH BALTIMORE -- Dearl W. "Duke" Jordan, Jr., 29, of North Baltimore, died at 5:45 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born in Findlay on August 5, 1982, to SFC Dearl W. Jordan Sr.,Ret. and Nola G. (Barringer) Jordan and they survive. On July 31, 2000, he married Mary Lydia Helms and she survives in North Baltimore along with their four children, Cheyenne N. Jordan, Hailey P.L. Jordan, Kayla M. Jordan and Dakota L. Jordan. Duke is also survived by three sisters, Kristy (James) Mead of Columbus, GA, Larina (Scot) Bridenstine of North Baltimore, Lisa (Nicholas) Hill of Columbus, GA, maternal grandmother Charlotte Barringer of North Baltimore, numerous nieces, nephews and one great-nephew. He was proceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clark and Lou Jordan, maternal grandfather Jack Barringer and cousin Bobby Daniels.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, with Capt. Mark Larrick officiating. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service. Memorial Contributions can be made to the family c/o Smith-Crates Funeral Home.
