Joseph C. MINGO

Services for Pfc. Joseph C. MINGO, 20, son of Mrs. Virgie Mae MINGO of 5220 Bayou Boulevard, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church at Cedar Bayou with the Rev. Elton FRANKLIN officiating.

A graduate of Ross Sterling High School, Pfc. MINGO had attended Sam Houston State University before he volunteered for the U. S. Army in January, 1971. He was stationed at Ft. George C. Meade in Maryland when he died. Cause of death has not been determined, Army officials said.

MINGO was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and the Baytown Little Theater.

Survivors other than his mother are two sisters, Delores MINGO and Mrs. Betty ALLEN of Baytown; three brothers, Douglas, John Earl and James Edward MINGO of Baytown; and his grandfather, Virgin MINGO of Washington, La.

Burial will bein Roberts Cemetery in Baytown under direction of the Johnson and Frazier Funeral home.

Graveside rites will be in charge of the military.
