She was born January 23, 1923 in Eagle Rock, Va. and was raised on the Abraham Buhrman family homestead named "Valley View Farm". She later resided in Iron Gate, Va. before settling in Clifton Forge, Va.
Miss Buhrman worked as a clerk at the Clifton Forge Courthouse for many years. She later was an Assistant Manager for Hodges Jewelry Store in Clifton Forge.
She attended the Central United Methodist Church.
She passed away on Dec. 15, 2001 at home in Clifton Forge, Va. Her survivors included two sisters, Mary Virginia Craft of Roanoke and Doris Ethel Snyder and husband Duane of Sebring, Fl; cousin Joe Buhrman of Eagle Rock, Va.; four nieces and two great-nephews.
