Judge B. A. Cox received a wire message about four o'clock Monday afternoon notifying him of the serious illness of his daughter, Mrs. Mina McKee.
The message also stated that her husband, Jack McKee, was at the home of his parents in Joshua suffering from an acute attack of pneumonia and was not expected to live. About 8 p.m. Judge Cox received another message stating that
his son-in-law was dying, and Mr. and Mrs. Cox left on the 10:50 train, the former for Joshua, and the latter for Mineral Wells.
