She had worked at Wal-Mart with many years of faithful service.
Concha was a member of Our Lady of Purification, she enjoyed taking care of her granddaughter who was the love of her life, giving of herself to all, loved and enjoyed giving her friends and family unexpected gifts and loved sharing her lunches with her second family at Wal-Mart, always a great smile and a contagious laugh, but her passion was for her family. Concha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son Travis Benton Gray of Las Cruces, daughter Monica Dunivan and husband Justin of La Mesa, NM, brothers Jorge Rascon and spouse Gloria of Dallas, TX and Danny Rascon and wife Debbie of Las Cruces; Sisters Gloria Medina and husband Carlos of Chipley, FL. Alicia McCarty and husband Carl of Jacksonville, FL, and Rebecca Aguilar of Las Cruces. She is also survived by her granddaughter Madelynn Dunivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2012 from 5-7pm with a prayer vigil to follow at 7pm at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral liturgy will be on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 10am at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church in Dona Ana, Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
