Elgie Bryant ‘Buster' Moore
Elgie Bryant ‘Buster' Moore, 78, of Laurel died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at Care Center of Laurel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memory Chapel of Laurel with burial to follow at Corinth Cemetery in Jasper County. Rev. P. J. Weeks and Rev. Darrell Craft will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at Memory Chapel.
Mr. Moore was a self-employed painter and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George Neil Moore and Robert Harold Moore; and four sisters, Bobbie Ruth Adams, Lou Ethel Craft, Lessie Craft and Leola Newcomb.
Survivors include his wife, Cora M. Moore of Laurel; two sons, Ricky David Moore of Meridian and Robert Keith Moore of Flowood; two daughters, Robin Belinda Steele of Meridian and Lori Stephens of Laurel; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hazel Stanley of Noxapater and Dixie Graham of Stringer.
Pallbearers will be Paul Blackwell, Kenneth Blackwell, L. C. Craft, Jimmy Dale Craft, Jerry Moore and Steve Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Magnolia Baptist Church.
Memory Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
