Mr. Stevens was born July 27, 1919, in Lyman, Utah. He grew up in Overton, Nev.

He joined the U.S. Army on Feb. 14, 1941, and was stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack, Dec. 7, 1941. He was discharged in 1945.

He moved from Overton, Nev., to Ridgecrest in 1955. He was an explosives technician at the Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, until his retirement.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a Boy Scout Leader, a loving huband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Mr. Stevens is survived by his wife, Stella Stevens of Ridgecrest;
Sister and brother-in-law, joy and Glenn Devoge of Las Vegas, Nev.;

Son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Lynda Stevens of Onyx,
Grandson, Krik Stevens of Ridgecrest;
Grandson and spouse, Mike and Brandy Stevens of Rigecrest;
Great-granddaughters, Denise and Suzzane Stevens of Ridgecrest.
