Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Rev. Ed Bray, Pastor of Cross Timbers Church will officiate. Pallbearers are Jeremy Herriman, Dusty Herriman, Ernie Herriman, Dave Herriman, John Davis, Nico Brawdy, and Blake Votaw.
Opal was born on October 24, 1920 in Asher, Oklahoma to Dave Herriman and Josie (Davis) Herriman. She married Henry Jolley on September 25, 1940 in Konawa. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church of Konawa and loved her family, flowers, trees, and birds.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Jolley of the home; one son, Gerald Jolley and wife, Paula of Cushing, Oklahoma; three daughters, Henrietta Brawdy of Seminole, Oklahoma, Glenda Martin and husband, Rex of Enid, Oklahoma, and Debbie Walker and husband, Frankie of Konawa, Oklahoma; one brother, Dan Herriman also of Konawa; four step-sons, Mike Auld of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Steve Auld of Oklahoma City, Mark Auld of Konawa, and Dale Auld of Seminole; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Josie Herriman; three brothers, Darald, Ernie, and Yule Herriman; three sisters, Gracie Foran, Ida Ewing, and Florence Yott; and one step-son, Dennis Auld.
