Chicago Tribune May 7, 1950:

AGED LA GRANGE MAN DIES AFTER CAR GETS STUCK

Emil J. Paidar, 74, of 221 S. Stone st., La Grange, was found dead yesterday 10 miles north of Frankfort, Mich., beside his automobile, which had stalled in loose sand. Coroner George Bennett of Benzie county said Paidar died about 2 p.m., probably of a heart attack induced by exertion in trying to free his automobile. He was en route to his summer home on Little Traverse bay. Paider was head of the Emil J. Paidar company, manufacturers of barber supplies, with offices at 1120 N. Wells st.

PAIDAR
Emil J. Paidar of 221 S. Stone avenue, La Grange, Ill., suddenly husband of the late Marie, fond father of Ruth Dlouhy and John Paidar, four grandchildren. Services Wednesday, 2 p.m., at home for funerals, 5844 W. Cermak road. Interment Bohemian National cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to American Heart association will be deeply appreciated by family. Member of Lawndale lodge, No. 995, A. F. & A. M.
