A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Kingdom Hall, with arrangements under direction of Emken-Linton Funeral Home of Texas City.
Born Dec. 24, 1903, in Kellerton, Iowa, Mrs. Anderson was a retired private school teacher. She was in charge of the Wayside Private School and organized the Jack 'n' Jill Kindergarten in LaMarque. She also taught in the Texas City public schools and belonged to the Jehovah's Witnesses in Texas City. She was a member of the Weed 'n' Wish Garden Club and a 40-year resident of Texas City.
Survivors include her husband, Carl H. Anderson, of Texas City, a son, two daughters, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
