Double funeral services will be held Saturday for a Fountaintown youth and his nephew, Christopher Dean Foster, 12, and Joshua Todd Borton, age 1, who were killed in a car-train collision Wednesday in Eastern Hancock County near Greenfield.

Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Foster, Fountaintown, and Mr. and Mrs. Todd A. Borton, R.R. 2, Fountaintown.

Rites will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Carmony Funeral Home here with the Revs. John Hay and Tony Underwood officiating.

Christopher will be buried in Miller Cemetery and Joshua in Asbury Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday.

Christopher and his nephew Joshua, were killed when the car in which they were riding was struck by an Amtrak passenger train at 11:15 a.m. at a Hancock County crossing four miles east of Greenfield.

The driver of the car, Robin E, Foster, 15, Christopher's sister, was injured critically and admitted to the intensive care unit at Community Hospital, Indianapolis.

Hancock County sheriff's officers said believed Miss Foster did not see the train and drove into its path.

A lifelong resident of Fountaintown. Christopher would have been an eighth grader at Morristown High School this fall.

He attended the Knightstown Church of the Nazarene.

The youth was born Oct. 16, 1964, in Shelbyville, the son of Herschel and Anna Lue(Dockery)Foster, who survive. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Donnie(Marcia Lynn)Dismore, R.R. 2, Greenfield, Mrs. Borton, Mrs. Douglas(Donna Sue)Johnson, Greenfield and Robin Foster, at home; and a grandmother, Mrs. Flora Dockery, Fountaintown.

Joshua was born August 6, 1975, in Greenfield, the son of Todd Alan and Patricia Carole(Foster)Borton. Surviving with his parents are a brother, Gabriel Borton, at home; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Borton, Morristown; and his great-grandparents, Mrs. Dockery and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Borton and Mrs. Mildred Heck, all of Morristown.
