A native of Madison County, Ala., he was the son of the late George and Nancy Elizabeth Reed Harris. He was married to the late Ella Mae Harris. Mr. Harris had retired as a cotton mill worker after 40 years. He is survived by two sons, Charles Wade Harris of Shelbyville and Randall Church of Huntsville, Ala., three daughters, Helen Crews of Taft, Mildred Kemp of Nashville and Thelma Bates of Valdosta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
