Joy Ann Barker Campbell, age 64, of Blountville, TN passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Greystone Healthcare.
She was born April 23, 1947 in Bristol, VA a daughter of the late Clarence and Shirley Brown Barker, and she lived all of her life in the Bristol area.
She was a former employee of Provident Insurance Company and Sprint. Joy was an avid bowler in several leagues here in Bristol over many years.
She is survived by:
Daughter: Christi Barker and fiancé David Sewell
Step-Mother: Elizabeth Jones Barker
Step-Brother: Richard Linnen
Grandchildren: Miranda N. Doss and Robert T. Lilly
Great-Grandchildren: Henry B. Doss, Joseph N. Doss, Morgan R. Hudson and Callie Anne Hudson
A funeral service will be held 8pm Friday, February 17, 2012 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Thompson officiating.
The burial will be 11am Saturday in Mountain View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45pm prior to the service.
Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
