On March 24, 1950 she married Tom Briggs Moss in Chillicothe. He died in 2002. Their children were: David, Dennis, Darrell, Richard, Mark, Marcia, Sondra, Anita, Mary Beth, Carol Ann.
She worked as a Dietary Supervisor at morningside Center from 1982 until 1996.
She was a member of the Mount Olive United Methodist Church of Chillicothe, and was the former clerk for Sampsel Township.
She was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
