OBITUARY - The remains of Lieutenant D. G. Cook, of the 12th Illinois Colored Regiment, arrived Saturday night and were taken to Center Grove, yesterday, for final internment, where his wife resides. He was killed last December in Tennessee. The coffin was wrapped in the flag of his country, and conveyed to its last resting place, by his friends. The funeral services were held over the remains, at the house of Mrs. Fanning, by Rev. Ames. He leaves a wife and one child.
