Surrounded by family and friends, Michael Huber went to be with his Lord on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his home in Benbrook. Service: Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Michael Huber was born June 30, 1950, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Michael and Eleanor Huber. Michael was an avid reader, seeker of knowledge, lover of "America's pastime" and follower of the Texas Rangers. He enjoyed writing and painting. Mr. Huber loyally served and retired from AT&T after 42 years of service. He was a dedicated member of the CWA and its practices for over 40 years. Michael was a member and supporter of Holy Family Catholic Church. Michael married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Pauline Dickerson, on May 6, 1972, at St. Francis Xavier in Brooklyn. Michael wanted to express thanks and love to the dedicated members of Texas Oncology for their support and efforts for more than three years. He often told of stories of physically being able to feel the love and support of those lifting him and his family up in prayer at Holy Family Catholic Church and the members of Trinity Hills Baptist Church - simply, in his words -"Thanks." "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee." Isaiah 26:3

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Eleanor Huber; and sisters, Ellen Braumn and Maryann Gangssa. Survivors: Mr. Huber was survived by his wife of 40 years, Pauline; daughter, Pauline Johnston and husband, Jay, and their children, Jacob, Connie and Jayme; son, Michael Huber and wife, Sacha, and their son, Cameron; and many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and friends. Mr. Huber loved to be surrounded by family and friends.
