Daughter of Walter Anson Kitchens and Annie Hooks Kitchens. After graduation and getting married to Dan, she lived in Gordon and Tennessee before returning to Milledgeville, following Dan's death. In 1992, she married Butch. She worked as a medical transcriptionist, and was a member of the Cooperville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Aaron Kitchens, Louise Purvis, Ethel Humphrey, and Milton Kitchens. Survivors include her husband, Butch Knight of Milledgeville, two sons, Tim NeSmith (Nancy) of Clarkston, GA, and Lee NeSmith (Robin) of Monroe GA, stepdaughter, Christie Burgess (Scott) of Eatonton; seven, grandchildren, Daniel (Megan), Heather (Justin), Lauren (Zac), Lindsey (Andrew), Brandon, Dain, and Jake; and seven great grandchildren; sister, Jane Griffin (Pee Wee) of Eatonton; and brother, Steven Kitchens (Betty) of Gray.
