Freddie Lee Fletcher is part of the John W. Fletcher and Albert Grogans clans, ancestries traced from 1700s Carolinas, to Tennesse in 1840s, then to Wright County, Missouri by 1860.

After his grandfather, Civil War veteran John Henderson Fletcher died about 1889, grandmother Mary Elizabeth Grogan Fletcher remarried, and eventually with several of her children migrated to Oklahoma.

Freddie's father, Alexander Campbell Fletcher moved from Missouri to Oklahoma about 1910, then in 1930s, Alexander and wife Hattie Weaver Fletcher moved with their large family to Tulare, joining other branches of the Fletchers already there.

Freddie met and married Juanita Sisson in Tulare where they had a large family.
