Born during a blizzard, Bernice was the daughter of Maurice C. Wadleigh & Belle Mina (Valia) Wadleigh of East Andover, New Hampshire - Widow of Harry L. Jacquelin- Mother of 2 daughters; Doris & Virginia & 4 sons; Jack, Joseph, Lawrence, & Gene-

Bernice was a direct descendant of John Wadleigh who left Bristol England in 1630 and settled in Saco, Maine, and of his son Robert Wadleigh who once pleaded a case before the King of England.
Bernice's mother was Belle Mina Valia, daugther of John Valia & Almina (Brown) Valia of Grafton Center, New Hampshire.
She left many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bernice also left a half-sister Dorothy, in Vermont. She now eternally rests beside her husband, son Lawrence & daughter Doris.

-Bernice will be remembered as being high-spirited all her life with a zest for living-

"Better to have lived your dreams, rather than to have only dreamed"
