Walter J Borchelt, 86, of Golden Villa died Sunday Dec 28 at the Dreyerhaus Nursing home in Batesville, IN. He was born March 7, 1900 in Franklin County, the son of John and Elizabeth (Wisman) Borchelt. He married Mae Ruleman on Jun 7, 1922 and she survives.
Other survivors include three sons, William of Osgood, Alvin of Indianapolis, and Dan of Huston Texas; two daughters, Lucille Williams of Clinton, Ohio and Betty Koester of Batesville; 15 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services held Dec 31, at Meyers Funeral Home with the Rev David Johnston officiating. Burial in St John's Huntersville Cemetery.
