Worked for Armour Co. as Foreman. His older brother-My Father John-worked there. This info is provided due to my father's name was John,which is listed as Joe's father in death record, althought Joe's mother's name is close to the original Elizabeth Umphries(Humphries) And the person who was the death record Informant was a Mrs. Woodie Avery-who's not listed in our family's records as a next of kin! Joe was the 4th child for Alonzo & Nancy Higginbotham.It is unkowned why Joe's wife Lela Pearl didn't provide the info unless she also had Pneumonia. Joe died due to Pneumonia which has taken many Higginbotham's!!!
