Miller, Company "K" 7th regiment of...volunteers who was enrolled on the 26th day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve three years or during the war is hereby discharged from the...this 22nd day of September 1864...by reason...No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist. Said JOHN C. MOORE was born in Laurel County...22 years old, 5 FOOT 7 1/2 INCHES TALL, light complexion, light hair, blue eyes and by occupation, when enrolled, a farmer...excellent character...

ANDERSON...on the 22nd day of January 1868...identical JOHN C. MOORE who...at Camp Dick Robinson...was honorably discharged...personal description is as follows: See the 1864 discharge above...He contracted the measles while in Camp Wildcat in KY and was sent back to Mt. Vernon...and in Consequence of his disability which arose from exposure while suffering with the measles he was transferred reserve corps about the last of the year 1862...that after leaving the service, resided in the County of Laurel...occupation farmer...he was a man of good physical sound health,...has appointed David M. Morse...that he has not received his claim...

Age 73 years old, 5' 1/4" tall, 105 lbs,...pulse rate 80 sitting, 92 standing...chest measurement at rest 30"...the entire chest is flattned anterierly, and markedly as at apex of both lungs...unable to carry either hand...cannot button or unbutton clothes etc. This person is entitled to $50 a month...
