OBITUARY :
THELMA MYRTLE ROWE, 93, formerly of George Street, Hagerstown, Md., died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Md.

Born April 1, 1918, in Shippensburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roy J. and Maude L. Barnhart Freet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Rowe Sr.

She was a 1936 graduate of Lewistown High School, Lewistown, Pa.

She was a member of Park Road Bible Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Sara Jane St. Clair and husband, Victor, of Hagerstown; one son, Jesse A. Rowe Jr. and wife, Cindy, of Smithsburg, Md.; two grandchildren, Victor M. St. Clair Jr. and Pamela S. Needy; two great-granddaughters, Amber St. Clair and Kayla Needy; a special niece, Nancy Rowe of Lewistown, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Shelby R. St. Clair; one sister; and three brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Ron Key will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Park Road Bible Church, 750 Park Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
