Matthew David Hood, 19, passed away on September 9, 2011.
Matthew was loved by everyone who knew him and a friend to all. He was as generous in death as he was in life by being an organ donor.
Survivors include: his mother, Brenda Darlene Hood; father, Robert Ralph Blechl (Juanita McWilliams); sisters, Rebecca Lynn Blechl and Tiffany Danielle Blechl; brother, Nicholas Nathan Blechl; grandmother, Brenda Joyce Hood; great grandmother, Sadie Wilson; grandmother, Muriel (Lyle) Smith; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service begins also at the funeral home.
Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, is in charge of arrangements.
