Furman F. Wright

FOUNTAIN INN - Furman F. Wright, 76 of the Fork Shoals Community, Route 2, died Monday, Feb. 28, 1983.

He was a native of Anderson County, a son of the late John M. and Mary Ballew Wright and was a retired employee of the Reigel Textile Corp.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Susie Kernells Wright; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Padgett of Pelzer and Mrs. Doris Meeks of Williston; one son, Joe Wright of Greenville; one brother, Will Wright of Easley; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Belle Lollis of Greenville and Mrs. Bessie Manley of Central; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. March 2 at Cannon Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Milton Gambrell and Rev. Ellis Edmonds with burial in Cannon Memorial Park.
