Waynetown July 27 --- Amos Fouts, 65, well known resident of this place, died at his home here Thursday at 11 p.m. after an illness of two weeks, following a stroke of paralysis. He had lived his entire life in this vicinity.
The deceased was born near Waynetown, October 22, 1864, the son of Jacob and Millie Stewart Fouts. On December 6, 1883, he was married to Nettie Westfall. He was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church.
Surviving are the wife, one son, Mylo Fouts of Indianapolis, one daughter, Mrs. Lela Brown of Crawfordsville; one brother, David, of Lafayette; a half-sister, Mrs. Susanna Dwiggins of Waynetown and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Waynetown Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at three o'clock, with the Rev. Cletis Brown in charge. Interment will be made in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
