MRS. BUENA WILLIAMS
Mrs. Buena Ragland Yancy Williams, 81, of 8030 Blosson Lane, a resident of the Dallas-Garland area since 1919, died at the home of a son in Dallas, Texas, Sunday, Oct. 19 after an illness of several weeks.
A native of Sarepta, Miss., Mrs. Williams was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church of Garland.
Survivors are a son, Leroy Yancy of Dallas; a stepson, H.L. Williams of Mesquite; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Daisy Chase of Seagoville and Mrs. Birdie Price of Irving; a brother, J.B. Ragland of Garland; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Yancy of Garland, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Garland with the Rev. J.F. Wharton officiating. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park.
