Dear Barbara,
Lillian (King) Faulkner and George Thomas Faulkner md. in June, 1901. I listed
their 10 children when I emailed you about her husband, George. She was born and
raised in Shelby County, Texas by her parents, Al L. King, b. Aug 1859, TX., and
Annie L. King, b. Jan 1873, Louisiana. Her father was a surveyor as of 1900, and
she had one sister, Julie, b. June 1887. Lillian was listed on the 1920 census
as "Lybon" Faulkner which makes me believe it may be her middle name, although
she is listed as Lillian in the 1930 and 1940 censuses. They originally were
renting their farm near Gunter, but must have purchased it (or moved) for they
wouldn't have stayed all of those years if it weren't theirs, I'm certain. They
were in Dist.5 until their road was named in 1940 "Welch-Collinsville Rd.,
Grayson County." An, progress..... I've spent a lot of time finding all of their
children today and it's 3:30am, so will be looking for the children later after
I sleep. It's just too late and I'm too tired.
Her husband's grandmother was my 1st cousin and her son had 10 children of his
own. Whew!!
Take care. With All Sincerity,
