Darrell W. Adams of Campton, Kentucky, beloved husband of Joyce Carson Adams, departed this life Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 3 days. He was a son of the late John Cecil and Ethel Vaught Adams born at Liberty, Casey County, Kentucky on February 25, 1933. Darrell was an HVAC technician. He was also a member of the F&AM Lodge #464 in Campton, Kentucky. He also attended the Campton Methodist Church in Campton, Kentucky. Darrell also served in the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Carson Adams; one step son, Chris Carson and wife Kim of Hazel Green, Kentucky; one step daughter, Melody Trent and husband Albert of Campton, Kentucky; four brothers, Orvis Adams of Los Alamitos, California, John Adams and wife Mary Lois of Renton, Washington, Brenton Adams and wife Betty of Albany, Kentucky, Louis Adams and wife Margie of Haines City, Florida; one sister, Mary Beth Bevins and husband Bob of Berea, Kentucky and five step grandchildren, Zach Trent, Matthew Carson, Erika Carson, Shelby Carson and Kaylee Trent. He was preceded in death by his loving first wife, Leola Lykins Adams; his parents, John Cecil and Ethel Vaught Adams and one brother, Leland Adams. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
